USA Based Animal Charities

AAHA Helping Pets Fund
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) launched the AAHA Helping Pets Fund in 2005 to help those in need access quality veterinary care for sick or injured pets. With this fund, veterinary care is possible for sick or injured pets even when they have been abandoned or their owners are experiencing financial hardship. The AAHA will only provide funding to veterinary hospitals who have been through AAHA's accreditation process - and you can't apply directly yourself, only the veterinarian who is currently treating your pet can apply on your behalf.

Citizens for Pets in Condos
The aim of Citizens for Pets in Condos is to increase the acceptance of pets in condos and other types of association run housing. To achieve this, they educate the public on the health benefits of companion animals and encourage housing association rules to be focused on irresponsible pet owners, thereby avoiding many animals being needlessly euthanized.
